Mark A. Brunner, DDS, MS, is currently an Assistant Professor at Augusta University College Of Dental Medicine, Periodontics Program. Previously Dr. Brunner was serving the residents of Atlanta and surrounding communities in Georgia through his position at Drs. Sugarman, Brunner, and Langston, a private practice established in the state of Georgia. As a periodontist, Dr. Brunner specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants. Within the practice, Dr. Brunner offered services including dental implants and periodontal surgical services; such as, soft tissue grafting, cosmetic perio-surgery, pocket reduction surgery, crown lengthening, and regenerative surgery. He also is well-versed in non surgical services such as scaling and root planning, medications, bite adjustment, bite guards, snore guard, oral medicine and diagnosis. He joined the practice in 2003 and remained there until 2015 when he decided to pursue educating future Doctors full time. Dr. Brunner strives to remain up-to-date in medical advances and treatments by being a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Southern Academy of Periodontology, and Georgia Dental Association.
