Certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, she is also an active member of the American Association of Pediatrics, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society. In addition, Dr. Al-Dahhan worked as a volunteer for the US Embassy with internal immigration for five years.
