Sofia Abraham-Hardee, DO, PhD, FACOP, currently maintains a position within Academic Primary Care Associates located in Blacksburg, Virginia. Board certified and also receiving her PhD in International Health Education, Dr. Hardee is a well-versed and dedicated pediatricianphysician. After residency she relocated to Blacksburg, where she additionally holds the position of Discipline Chair in Pediatrics at the VCOM - Virginia campus, her alma mater. In 2013, Dr. Hardee was honored for her outstanding efforts as a pediatrician receiving the Best Bedside Manner Award. In her spare time, Dr. Hardee attends several medical missions to countries with her husband. She is affiliated with LewisGale Medical Center and studied medicine at The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2007. She subsequently completed her internship at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Hardee is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Physicians.
