He is the owner & operator of Gonstead Family Chiropractic with offices in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. There, he provides safe, gentle, and specific “Gonstead” spinal adjustments, while educating patients regarding the detrimental effects of the spinal subluxation complex. He designs an individual care plan, and allows each patient to make an informed decision regarding their health.

As a former collegiate athlete and strength and conditioning coach, Dr. Del Angel loves focusing on sports medicine. He has designed programs to help collegiate athletes achieve maximum function in order to prevent injuries. He has successfully adapted those rehab programs for patients of varying athletic abilities at Gonstead Physical Medicine and combined them with the most advanced sports medicine techniques in the world to create treatment programs that achieve the best results that healthcare can provide. 

On the subject of his educational background, Dr. Del Angel earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Ball State University as well as a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Auburn University. He then went on to graduate with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Holding certifications in OnBaseU and Driveline Coaching, he is the team chiropractor for the Albuquerque Isotopes baseball club (Colorado Rockies AAA organization) and New Mexico United soccer club.
