Bashir A. Chowdhry, MD, FACS, FRCS, FACC, FICS, is a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon currently serving patients at Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery of Nevada. Is nausea normal after heart surgery?
Not really. Initially, it could be an aide-effect of anesthesia. Later pain meds, especially narcotic, can give nausea. Most other meds also has nausea/vomiting as a side effect. READ MORE
