Recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, the doctor is board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) is the certifying board for the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery in the United States and is recognized and approved by the Council on Dental Education of the American Dental Association. 

Holding membership status, Dr. Latimer is an active member in prestigious bodies such as the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Cape Cod District Dental Society, and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS).
