Curtis L. Williams, DDS, maintains the Williams Dental Group based out of Temple Hills, Maryland. Dr. Williams attended Howard University School of Dentistry and graduated with his dental degree in 1981. He served in the US Army early in his career and now specializes in general dentistry, making him an expert in the prevention and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity. As an advocate for continued learning, Dr. Williams conducts local lectures to schools in the area, spreading his knowledge and passion to future healthcare professionals.
Dr. Williams opened his practice in 1987 and operated it jointly for 25 years with his wife and life partner Dr. Valynncia Williams, to whom he was married for 29 years before she passed away from cancer in 2013. Drs. Curtis and Valynncia had two children together: Jacquelyn, born in 1989, and Curtis, Jr, born in 1991.
Dr. Williams is a life member of \"Who\'s Who in Dentistry\", the Morgan State University Alumni Association, the Omega Psi Phi fraternity and, in 2007, was recognized as one of America\'s Top Dentists.
