Anton Kruger, MBChB, AMC, BSc (OH&S), FRACGP, is an occupational and emergency medicine physician working at Brighton Beach Medical Centre in Merriwa WA, Australia. Dr. Kruger is one of the three Principal Partners at the practice. Born in South Africa, he went to the University of Stellenbosch, where he obtained his MBChB. He spent some time in Wales, doing Obstetrics and Gynaecology, before commencing Private General Practice in Central, Port Elizabeth. Dr. Kruger then immigrated to New Zealand and then to Australia 1997. He spent the last 10 years doing Occupational Health, leading to further his studies and he obtained a BSc in Occupational Health & Safety. Simultaneously he continued with General Practice and Emergency Medicine. He obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners in 2007. He speaks Afrikaans and English and is also affiliated with Ocean Reef Medical Centre and Bariatric Medicine Integrated. Dr. Kruger is Board Certified in Family Medicine and an active member of the Australian Medical Association.
