Upon graduation, Dr. Tran began his career at Signal Hill Dental Centre where he has been able to fulfill his passion for helping patients increase and maintain their oral health, especially as it pertains to their overall well-being. Dr. Tran has nearly a decade of experience, with a keen interest in Invisalign, orthodontics, cosmetic dental makeovers, dental implant restorations, and conservative porcelain restorations. As a result of his outstanding achievements over the years, he was awarded certificates of recognition from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologists and the American Association of Periodontology. Dr. Tran is additionally an advocate for continuing education and continually exceeds the requirements set out by the Alberta Dental Association to maintain a dental license. Recently, Dr. Tran has accepted a position as the Program Director for the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies, and has completed several courses at the Las Vegas Institute.

Bloody painful gums, what should I do?
If you notice that your gums are bleeding and suspect that you might have gum disease, make an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible. Your dentist can confirm the presence of gum disease and come up with a plan to reverse or treat the damage. You should have a good professional cleaning and instruction on how to properly care for your teeth and gums at home. If the gum disease is more advanced, your may require scaling and root planing treatments to remove stubborn plaque and help gums to heal. Medications may also be prescribed in order to reduce the amount of oral bacteria. In serious circumstances, tooth extraction, laser treatments or dental surgery may be required in order to halt the progression of periodontitis. READ MORE
