Dr. Seman is a board-certified osteopathic surgeon with extensive experience in the fields of wound care and cosmetics. She is the Owner & Operator of The Dr. Susan Seman Solution, located just south of Orchard Lake in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.

At The Dr. Susan Seman Solution, Dr. Seman and her team provide patients with impactful, lasting solutions for wound care, surgical needs, and comprehensive skin and body treatments. They are committed to inspiring patients to feel like their best selves, delivering the finest and most comprehensive care available today.

As a surgeon working to save and better the lives of her patients, Dr. Seman recognized an opportunity to treat both the inside and outside to improve wellness and confidence. Her venture into cosmetics started with a simple Botox certification and has grown into over 30 different cosmetic offerings from injectables to lasers and light to spa treatments.

In addition to her cosmetics practice, she now practices in osteopathic surgery at hospitals in the West Bloomfield Township area. Her long-standing relationships with other local practitioners make her a respected physician and surgeon in the community and hospitals where she practices. She provides guidance in good nutrition, a healthy diet, and regular physical activity to keep patients looking and feeling healthy, inside and out. 

Pertaining to her educational pursuits, Dr. Seman earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University.  She then went on to perform her internship and residency at Botsford Hospital, now Beaumont Hospital, in Farmington Hills. 

From there, she went on to complete a fellowship in trauma surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. 

Skilled in wound care, Dr. Seman is certified as a wound specialist by the American Board of Wound Management.

Dedicated to surgical excellence, she is board-certified in general surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Seman is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (FACOS). She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
