Get to know Internist Dr. Michele A. Candelore, who serves patients in Cape Coral, Florida.

Dr. Candelore is a board-certified internist with Millennium Physician Group in Cape Coral, Florida. Her professional interests and specialties include headaches, lipids, and hypertension.

After earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997, Dr. Candelore went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at the same educational venue. 

Following her education, the doctor became board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

For the purpose of staying up to date in her field, she remains a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Physicians, and the National Headache Foundation. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI).

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
