Richard G. Barbers, MD, currently is the Medical Director of the Lung Transplantation Program and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine - University of Southern California. After Dr. Barbers' teaching and practicing medicine at UCLA and the University of Massachusetts earlier in his career, he joined the Keck School of Medicine faculty in 1990. Dr. Barbers? teaching subjects include lung transplantation and asthma, and he has published and lectured extensively in these areas around the globe. Dr. Barbers has multiple Board certifications, in his fields of expertise, through the American Board of Internal Medicine. A physician of excellence, Dr. Barbers has been given the title Fellow of an array of prestigious medical associations; as well as being honored as America's Top Doctor from 2003 to 2007.
