Managing complicated and advanced anterior segment cases that require suturing of the Intraocular Lenses and iris repairs. My operative time for regular cataract is 4-6 minutes/case. Optional premium IOLs like multifocals and toric implant. I also offer astigmatism correction procedure(s) when appropriate, like LRI, Multifocal Toric IOLs.
Expanded the medical retina practice to include Intravitreal Injections of Anti-VEGFs like Avastin, Lucentis, Eylea, Ozurdex ….etc, in addition to the lasers to manage AMD, Diabetic and other vascular retinopathies. I have the laser in my private office. To date, I’ve given over 17,000 Intraocular Injections.
I have a very efficient solo-practice with excellent up-to-date standard of care conducted in a newly build customized 4000sqft office with full computer system with paperless office software.
I am the founder of the “Premium Vision Surgical Centres”, an Ambulatory Surgical Centre at my office to do, laser vision corrections and lensectomies for Cataracts and refractive indications. This includes top of the line pre and intraoperative diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
As of April 2015, I’ve done over 11,550 cataract surgeries and given over 15,000 Intravitreal injections. I have one of the lowest complication rates compared to any published data.I currently do 22 cataracts in 6 hrs at the Hospital.
