Wonderful help to me in my life. Dr Knast helps me feel better and helps me make better decisions I am lucky to know a doctor like Knast who can sign and who understands my isolation
Dr. Knast is compassionate, a good listener, supportive, understands deaf culture, and helps to move his client in a gentle way. He also relates well to the family. It is fun to work with him.
Dr. Knast seems uniquely knowledgeable about hearing issues. I have found this to be extremely helpful in discussing the many issues and serious problems I have been coping with. He is a patient and good listener. He also is a speed reader, and has used this to extend the length of our sessions by allowing me to email additional thoughts that frequently come to mind after many sessions. This allows me to save time in the next session, by giving me a chance to voice these things ahead of time, so that we can devote the sessions to the one on one discussion, and not waste time setting up the discussion. If nothing else, it seems to have helped me get a better grip on my sanity, knowing that a certified expert in psychological effects of disabilities is able to give me objective advice that I can bank on. His is exactly the combination of expertise and experience I was seeking.
He is great as helper...
