Most patients have minimal discomfort from facelift/necklift and are off pain medication within 5 days. READ MORE
What happens if you don't replace your breast implants?
It is your choice to replace your breast implants. If you do not wish to do so, you can keep them. Most of my patients will wait until they are undergoing another procedure like a breast lift and use this opportunity to swap them out. Is recovery from otoplasty painful?
Typically, patients have discomfort for 3-5 days which is managed with pain medication. READ MORE
Is ear reduction surgery painful?
Otoplasty (ear surgery) can be tender. Most patients require pain medication for 3 days following the procedure. READ MORE
When can I go back to work after chin plastic surgery?
Typically, patients can return to work within one week for most chin procedures. Silicone implant augmentation genioplasty and fat grafting generally take a few days to a week for swelling to resolve. Procedure confusion?
If the surgical site is above your waist, there is no reason that you should need to remove your pants. We simply ask that you wear something loose fitting that you are not attached to in case it gets stained. READ MORE
How soon after lipo do you see results?
Results are clearly visible by 2 weeks. It takes about 3-6 months to appreciate your final contour. READ MORE

Being born with neurofibromatosis I've seen my share of plastic surgeons in my 29 years. All have been great at MANAGING it, however only Dr. Theo Gerstle was able to make a significant improvement on my appearance. I had all but given up hope than any improvement could be done, but Dr. Gerstle gave me confidence within the first five minutes of meeting him that he could help me. Not only is he an exceptional surgeon, but they way he treats his patients is unlike any I've seen before. He is so kind and considerate and will spend as much time as you need talking to you. He has forever changed my life. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Gerstle did an amazing job on my breasts! Can't believe I feel so good only one day after my implant surgery. He was very flexible and had to reschedule my surgery 3 times. He really made me feel comfortable and relaxed from my first appointment to surgery. Loved my experience with him. My breasts look so AMAZING.

Breast cancer patients in Lexington, KY who are considering reconstruction, please get a consultation with Dr. Theo Gerstle before you embark on that journey! I thank God for leading me to him from another state to rescue me from physical, mental and emotional anguish brought upon me by implant and alloderm reconstruction. My other doctors' solution was to put me on pain meds and send me to counseling To deal with my regrets rather than remove the problem! I have my sanity and life back thanks to this exceptional doctor and man,
