This is a great question. Different therapists utilize different therapeutic styles. You should request to speak to a therapist before setting an initial consultation and ask him/her if they are more passive and directive. I would do a google search for symptoms of depression, but if you’re experiencing symptoms around your cycle it could be a symptom of Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disordsr (PMDD).
