What I do: I specialize in the treatment of trauma / PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem, and identity concerns. Building a safe, warm, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for successful counseling. I intensionally create a safe, professional, and confidential space where clients can meet their goals. I am honored to be given the opportunity to accompany my clients on their journeys in attaining their goals.
How I do it: Talk therapy can bring about deep insight, change, resolution, and healing for some people, while others benefit from the integration of creative, intuitive, or non-verbal therapies into their work. I offer a combination of cognitive and experiential healing modalities in order to best help clients synthesize implicit and explicit memories. These include a combination of healing modalities including psychodynamic talk therapy, EMDR, IFS, mindfulness, and sand tray therapy depending on client needs.
My philosophy: I work collaboratively with clients to see how I can support each individual in meeting his/her/their goals. I integrate intellectual, emotional, somatic, and spiritual components to provide holistic counseling services. I have worked in finance, engineering, and mental health fields, and understand how to approach complex problems with compassion, warmth, intelligence, patience, and humor. Ultimately, I am here for my clients, and delight in working with each individual to best help them.
