Are there any home remedies to treat diaper rash?
It depends on the type of diaper rash and how severe it is. If it is a very mild rash, you can try calendula cream, cornstarch or air drying (i.e. putting a sheet down on the floor and having your baby wear no diaper so no more urine or BM touches the inflamed skin. READ MORE
Can I give OTC cough syrups to my 9 month old baby?

How often is it required to bottle feed my baby?
That is hard to answer without knowing the circumstances. Feeding should generally be every 2-3 hours or so for the first month or two. If weight is ok, that can be spaced a little. Keep an eye on the weight. If weight is going up, you are feeding enough, if not, consider supplementation. Start with 1 supplemental feed and increase/decrease as needed READ MORE
Are over-the-counter cough medications safe?
They are generally pretty safe, but are generally not recommended for those under 4, though many people still use them. You can try some of the natural cough medicines like zarabees. There is no great evidence that any cough medicine works. Honey is great if the child is over 1 year old. READ MORE
My son who is 3 weeks old was born with small eyes. Is that a problem?
There is a wide range of what is normal. It's hard to answer your question without seeing your son. It will probably not affect his eyesight. If concerned, you should take him to an eye doctor READ MORE

Meltdowns Behaviour
This is something to discuss with your pediatrician. Sounds like the meltdowns are situation and location based since they are not happening at school so it would be ideal to sit down and discuss what is different at home that is leading up to these meltdowns and what steps can be taken when they occur to decrease and ultimately resolve the issue READ MORE
My son who is 5 years old is having a ringing sensation in his ears. Is it treatable?
There are many possible causes of ringing in the ear or tinnitus. Some causes are benign and some are not. This would need a more thorough workup than I can provide you over email. Is my child's hyperactivity due to Claritin?
Yes. That is a possible side effect of claritin. Some people get more tired, others can get more hyperactive. I would discuss this with your pediatrician and consider switching to another medication. Patient privacy when it's a child being seen
