When I realized I needed cataract surgery, I had one goal in mind - to get the best possible outcome. For me the best outcome meant best vision, of course, but I also wanted to avoid the kinds of annoying visual effects that can sometime occur with cataract lens implants. After making appointments with three of the major cataract surgery providers in Gainesville, I decided that Dr. Snodgrass was the person I would trust with my eyes. When I met with him, he took plenty of time, answered all my questions and discussed the various options in order to come up with a good plan for me. As I prepared for my operations, I also became impressed by his staff. Everyone was careful in their work, and they were very patient-focused. The key steps, like measuring to determine the proper lens strength, were handled in a very confidence-inspiring manner. I think patients tend to focus on the doctors, but a good staff is crucial too. With Dr. Snodgrass, I was confident that I had both. In the end, I got what I wanted, an excellent result. Based on my experience, I would recommend Dr. Snodgrass to anyone considering cataract surgery in Gainesville and the surrounding area. The other thing I really appreciated was that Dr. Snoodgrass didn't pressure me to immediately schedule surgery. Just left the proceedings up to me which was nice and proper, I think. Tyler Egan was also a standout employee. He was very patient focused and extremely accommodating.
