Get to know Dr. Ratna Vedullapalli, who serves patients in Newtown, Connecticut.

Dr. Vedullapalli is a dentist serving Newtown and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with Diamond Dental – a practice dedicated to make sure patients teeth stay healthy, function well and look great! From regular cleanings and exams to advanced restorative treatments, all routine dental needs can be met at the practice.

Dr. Vedullapalli earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in India. Upon graduation, she provided dental service to the poor and needy in rural India. Followed by an advanced program in comprehensive and aesthetic dentistry at New York University. She continues to serve the community around her by participating in outreach programs such as CT Mission of Mercy that serves free dental care to the local underserved communities.

Dr. Vedullapalli is board certified in Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles. Both are short term orthodontic systems aimed at helping adult patients wit crooked teeth, spaced cases, crowded cases, rotations, deep bites, creating spaces for implants and setting up cosmetic cases.

Dentistry is a healthcare profession concerned with diagnosing and treating oral health issues. As a dentist, Dr. Vedullapalli provides preventative and regular maintenance treatments such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, X-rays (to look for cavities), cavity fillings. She also provides advice on proper brushing, flossing, and rinsing for the prevention of plaque buildup.

With a long and successful career, Dr. Vedullapalli successfully completed a complex case of placement of 18 veneers in the AEGD program at NYU College of Dentistry. The case was featured on NY1 TV channel. She was featured in Guide to America’s Top Dentists by Consumer’s Research Council in 2013, 2014 and 2015 consecutively. She was also included in the 2015-2016 edition of The Leading Physicians of the World.
