Dr. Chen is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist who is a part of the team of professionals at Los Angeles Cancer Network. Namely, he can be found on staff at Cotton Medical Center in Pasadena, California.

Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Chen attended the University of Michigan and was a cum laude graduate of Loma Linda University with his undergraduate degree in Biology. He then earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. 

Furthering his training, he served as a resident and later a Chief Resident in internal medicine at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center of Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences in New Jersey. He went on to complete his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the said establishment.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in hematology and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Active in community outreach programs in the San Gabriel Valley Chinese community, Dr. Chen is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Medical Association.
