Dr. Al-Khouri is a seasoned psychiatrist who sees patients at his private practice, Oklahoma City Psychiatric Services, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Oklahoma, he maintains hospital affiliations with SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Oklahoma City.

After earning his medical degree at the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria, in 1980, Dr. Al-Khouri relocated to the United States, where he completed his psychiatry residency at the University Hospital & Clinics (1992 – 1996). 

Dr. Al-Khouri became board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1980. The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. (ABPN) is a nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1934 as a method of identifying the qualified specialists in psychiatry and neurology. The ABPN is one of 24 member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
