Rajendran G. Nair received his medical degree in 1981 from Osmania Medical College in India. He then went on to complete his internship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and his residency at the Royal College of Physicians. Dr. Nair is board-certified in anesthesiology with the American Board of Anesthesiology and maintains professional memberships with the American Association of Pediatrics and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He is a highly-trained and qualified anesthesiologist who has been practicing for over 31 years and is currently serving patients at Panhandle Medical Services in Pensacola, Florida. Furthermore, he is on staff at the Baptist Hospital and the Sacred Heart Hospital. Anesthesiologists, like Dr. Nair, are responsible for administering either a general or local anesthetic to the patient. During surgery, they monitor the patient’s blood pressure, heart rhythm, temperature, level of consciousness, and amount of oxygen in their blood. Dr. Nair has vast experience in several areas relating to his line of work, especially pain management and pediatric anesthesiology. He attributes his success to his father, who is a great inspiration to him.
