Armin Drnda, MD, FRACS, maintains a position with his own private practice. Dr. Armin Drnda, a neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon located in Melbourne, Australia. With more than thirty years of experience, Dr. Drnda is additionally affiliated with the Austin Hospital,Monash Medical Centre and the Cabrini Hospital Malvern. Dr Drnda is specialised in general neurosurgery, cerebro-vascular, skull base and spinal surgery. Educated at the University of Sarajevo Medical School, he completed an internship in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. Neurosurgical training was in the Department of Neurosurgery University Medical Centre Sarajevo and Neurosurgical Department of La Sapienza University in Rome. The fellowship of skull base surgery was in Ljubljana, Slovenia with Prof. Vinko Dolenc. Further fellowship was in Uppsala, Sweden. Dr Drnda spent additional training in Melbourne and was awarded fellowship of Royal Australasian College os Surgeons in 2001.
