Dr. Galvez is a dedicated, experienced psychiatrist, psychotherapist and expert psychopharmacologist who believes in working with patients to maintain and improve their health. We work together to serve your mental health needs. Dr. Galvez provides comprehensive health care services to his patients in a friendly, non-judgmental, relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Galvez also believes in educating his patients as he works with them to achieve the best physical and mental state possible.
Dr. Galvez is a board certified psychiatrist and founder of Transcendence Psychiatry and Medicine Center. He has been trained in various schools of psychotherapy and is an expert in psycho-pharmacology for the treatment of mental disorders. He has engaged in cutting edge research in the field of mental health and practices the most up-to-date and state of the art treatment. He utilizes evidence-based psychiatric approaches combined with patient-centered humanism. His holistic approach and empathetic nature have helped hundreds of patients better their lives. Dr. Galvez trained at the prestigious New York Medical College Westchester Medical Center Psychiatric Program under world-renowned psychiatrists and psychologists. He has conducted research on novel therapies at the Nathan Klein Institute for Psychiatric Research and has been recognized by the National Institute of Health. He is also a recognized medical educator, lecturer and supervisor of medical students. Dr. Galvez is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
