About

Dr. Rick Munaretto is very passionate about the profession of dentistry and the specialty of endodontics. He followed in the footsteps of his father and uncle when he entered the field of endodontics and has made his own mark in the profession. He has brought the Seattle Study Club to the western suburbs with Windy City Seminars and is co-director with Dr. Vladana Babcic.

Windy City Seminars is the first Seattle Study Club internationally that is directed by endodontists. Dr. Rick strives for perfection in every case and uses only current evidence-based techniques to accomplish that level of success.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with honors from Benedictine University in 1997, Dr. Rick attended UIC College of Dentistry receiving both a second BS degree in Dentistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. While at UIC, he received many awards including the Luz Bondoc Scholarship for the highest Part I & II National Board scores, the Alpha Omega award for highest cumulative GPA in the Class of 2001, and he was inducted into the OKU National Dental Honors Society. He is very thorough and patiently listens to all questions. Importantly he is very careful about prescribing antibiotics, only when absolutely necessary and for the shortest time possible. Excellent care.

Best experience! Had a root canal done before at a different place and the pain and time consumption was ridiculous, but not with Dr. Rick. He fit me in without an appointment since I was in so much pain. Had me in and out in no time and my favorite part, I didn't feel a thing!

Went in for a root canal and heard a bunch of horror stories but Dr. Rick was awesome! I didn't even feel the numbing shots or the actual procedure. The dental assistant was great and the ladies at the front were friendly and fun :) I recommend Cameo Dental anytime!

If, I knew a month ago, what I know now--I wouldn't have waited, let my tooth abscess and put me in excruciating pain! I would have had my root canal the same day Dr. Rick told me to get it! Dr. Rick is the best! #firsttimepatient üëçüòâ

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Rick Munaretto. I first went to see him on an emergent basis with a dental abscess. He fit me in that day, fixed my problem and put my mind at ease. The root canal was no worse than a filling- it was actually easier. The second time that I saw Dr. Rick Munaretto for another root canal was even easier ( I have bad teeth!). The staff is so friendly too. I highly recommend Dr. Rick Munaretto and Cameo Endontists.
