Alannah M. Freer, BDSc(Hons), M.Phil.(Dent.Res.), FACNEM, FICD, is a dentist with her own private practice, Dent8 Dental in Taringa, Australia. Dr. Freer graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 with honours and has been in private practice for nearly 30 years. She completed a Master Degree researching the effects of dental amalgam replacement with composite resin on the immune system at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Freer is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and continues to regularly attend conferences on dentistry, nutrition and environmental medicine. Other interests include lecturing dental students on ?Dentist Well Being?, examining with the Australian Dental Council, reading and discussing the history of philosophy, science and religion.
