Dr. Michael R. Sood, MD, MS, FACC FACP, FSCMR is a cardiologist practicing in Oceanside, New York. He is the subspecialty education coordinator and takes great pride in teaching and mentoring physicians and students. He is the Director of advanced cardiac Imaging with cardiac MRI and performs transesophageal echocardograms and cardioversion and is the Director of the Non-Invasive Section. Dr. Sood has had an extensive and diverse background having traveled extensively and studied internationally during undergrad and beyond. He played sports including football, for which he would like to coach more. He is an Eagle Scout. He plays numerous instruments and grew up surfing. He loves to learn and engage in conversation. In his spare time, he also enjoys boating and sailing.
