William Eric Lawson, MD, FACC, FACP, FAHA, FSCAI, is a professor of medicine at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York and is affiliated with Stony Brook University Hospital. He has over 34 years of experience specializing in cardiovascular diseases. Educated at Rutgers University, Dr. Lawson completed his internship at Nassau University Medical Center and a fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and, in addition to his role as a professor, serves as Vice Chairman of Medical Practice, Safety and Quality Compliance; Associate Chief of Cardiology; and the In Patient Director of Preventative Cardiology and Clinical Services. Dr. Lawson was named a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly in 2015 and 2016.
