Andrew T. Fanelli, DO, FACG, FACP, FACFE, AGAF, is an established gastroenterologist with Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. He is also affiliated with St. Mary Medical Center and is experienced in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Dr. Fanelli obtained his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1969. He is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He maintains active memberships with the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Prior to establishing his practice, Regional Gastroenterological Associates, P.A., Dr. Fanelli interned at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital and Corporation and Bi-County Hospital. His first year residency in Internal Medicine was spent at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. His second year residency and subsequent fellowship in Gastroenterology were at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and the VA Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Fanelli has honorably served on the National Osteopathic Board of Medical examiners and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of the AOA, the American Medical Association, and the Scientific Advisor to the Ileitis and Colitis Society. He is also a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and Physicians, Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
