Patient Experience with Dr. Rizzo-Fryzel
I had a 4:40pm appointment with Dr. Rizzo's dental hygienist for a cleaning and then with the dentist for a check-up. I made this appointment weeks ago and rearranged my work schedule to accommodate it. I arrived at 4:30pm and registered with the receptionist. At 5:10pm I was still sitting in the waiting room so I approached the receptionist. Although she tried to be helpful she said "we are very busy on Mondays, TRIPLE BOOKED, trying to figure things out with scheduling, maybe you should reschedule for another day". This also happened with my appointment for a cleaning/check-up 6 months ago. I told her that I should not have to reschedule, that I had made an appointment for this time for a reason. She said all dental chairs were in use and that it would be at least 10 more minutes before I would be called back. I waited until 5:25pm and then requested to at least see the dentist as I could not spend any more time waiting for the hygienist. The receptionist informed me that I could not see the dentist without first seeing the hygienist. At this point I left feeling very frustrated and annoyed. This was such a waste of my time! It is so inconsiderate to triple book appointments and keep customers waiting over an hour as a result of poor schedules. For anyone who values their time, avoid this place because they will not.
