Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Ann I. Ryan, who serves the population of Los Angeles, California. Dr. Ann I. Dr. Ryan has been in practice for more than 25 years and is currently serving at the University of California, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California and the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, California. Dr. Ann I. Ryan graduated with her Medical Degree in 1991 from the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine. Following her graduation, Dr. Ryan completed her internship at the University of Chicago, before undertaking her residency training at the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine and Lutheran General Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and keeps up to date with the latest advances in her field by maintaining a professional membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Physician Practice Guideline Committee. For her hard work and dedication, Dr. Ryan was recognized as a Top Doctor in 2007, and is the recipient of a Royal Diamond Award in 1999 and Valuable Leader Award in 2003. In addition, Dr. Ryan has made numerous television appearances, including on the show American Nurse in 1999. She attributes her success to her hard work and the excellent mentors she has had throughout her career. When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Ryan is an Equestrian, and is currently writing a fiction novel. Family medicine is the medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family.
