Alison E. Zimon, MD, is an established reproductive endocrinologist with Boston IVF in Quincy, Massachusetts. Dr. Zimon graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1993 and Yale University School of Medicine in 1999. She completed her residency and fellowship training at Harvard Medical School / Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Programs for Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility from in 2006. Dr. Zimon is passionate about reproductive medicine and is motivated by how rapid scientific advances quickly translate to better options for patients, higher success rates and more healthy and happy outcomes. Her expertise encompasses issues affecting reproduction including low ovarian reserve, ovulation disorders, polycystic ovaries, endometriosis, uterine abnormalities, male infertility, and recurrent pregnancy loss. She offers cutting-edge reproductive treatments involving ovulation induction/stimulation, intra-uterine insemination, in vitro fertilization (IVF), pre-implantation genetic screening/diagnosis (PGS/PGD), egg freezing, gestational carrier, and donated sperm, eggs, and embryos. She has been honored with awards from Harvard Medical School and the Schwartz Center for compassionate patient care. An instructor at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Zimon has received awards for teaching and research excellence. She serves as principal investigator for a million-dollar Health and Human Services federal grant to develop support services for patients with stored frozen embryos. She is also interested in the molecular mechanisms of ovarian aging. Her research has been presented nationally and published in peer-reviewed journals. She is a Fellow of the American College Obstetrics and Gynecology and member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the New England Fertility Society. Dr. Zimon sees patients at the South Shore, Cape Cod and Foxboro centers.
