Jerry Brunsoman, DDS, MS, is an established oral and maxillofacial surgeon with the Institute of Facial Surgery St. Paul in Minnesota. He obtained his pre-dental education at the University of North Dakota and then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry graduating in 1965. He then spent two years in the Army Dental Corp at a 1,000 bed general hospital in support of the Vietnam Conflict. Upon discharge from the Army, he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. earning a Masterâ??s Degree. Dr. Brunsoman became board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 1974 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons; and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Brunsoman went on to complete a fellowship in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and is now a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
