A graduate of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Royce completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. In addition, he was a visiting resident at the Harvard Medical School Combined Residency Program, studying pediatric orthopaedics and total joint replacement surgery. In 2004, he returned to Boston for a sabbatical fellowship in biological joint replacement at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Cartilage Repair Center, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. 

Following his education, he became board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopaedic residents and surgeons, as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopaedic surgeons.

Ronald O. Royce, DO, attended the UNT Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas, and was awarded his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 1985. His served his internship at Garden City Hospital (1985-1986) and conducted his orthopedic surgery residency at OhioHealth Doctors’ Hospital in Columbus, Ohio (1986-1990).
