Joseph Mignone, MD is a board-certified medical oncologist currently specializing in palliative care and internal medicine at GenesisCare located in Florida. In addition, Dr. Mignone serves as Clinical Practice Committee Vice Chair of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology and serves on the cancer committee for the University of Florida and Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville. Wanting to further his knowledge in the field, Dr. Mignone attended the University of Florida Health Science Center and completed his internal medicine residency followed by his medical oncology fellowship. To remain up to date with the latest medical advancements in his field, Dr. Mignone maintains a professional membership with the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Duval County Medical Society, the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Society for Integrative Oncology. As a testament to his successful career, Dr. Mignone has received many awards and accolades including the Castle Connolly's Top Doctors Award from 2007 to 2021, the Vitals Patients' Choice Award, and the 2016 Top Doctor for the International Association of Oncologists.
