Thomas Ptak, MD, PhD, MPH, is an Emergency Radiologist with additional qualification in Neuroradiology providing litigation review services since 2003. He is board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology and is a Fellow of the American Society of Emergency Radiology. He maintains an active practice as an emergency neuroradiologist in a busy urban academic medical center emergency department in Atlanta, GA. In addition, he is very active in medical education teaching residents and medical students at the graduate level as well as undergraduate students at a large, well respected Boston area university. His goal is to provide a fair, accurate and complete review of diagnostic imaging and imaging services in all cases, with an emphasis on those involving trauma and acute presentation, especially of the brain and spine. He has two offices, one in Massachusetts and one in Georgia. Dr. Ptak received his medical degree at Albany Medical College, his PhD at Rensselaer Institute, and his MPH at Harvard School of Public Health. He is an active member of the American Society of Emergency Radiology, the American Society of Neuroradiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American College of Radiology.
