Frank Chieu, MD, is a remarkable nephrologist with Vista Del Mar Medical Group in Oxnard, California. Physician Emeritus, he joined Dr. Elson in 1976, having studied Internal Medicine at New York Medical College and Nephrology at Harbor UCLA. His many contributions to enhancing the quality of medical care in Ventura County include prior service as Chair of St. Johnâ??s Hospital Department of Medicine, Medical Director of Intensive Care Units, member of the Board of Governors of the Ventura County Medical Society, and President of the Medical Staff of St. Johnâ??s Regional Medical Center. UCLA has recognized Dr. Chieu as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. He has been listed in Best Doctors in the U.S.- Pacific Region, and Whoâ??s Who in Medicine.
