With over 40 years of experience in the field, Dr. Louis Fernand Fabre, MD, PhD, is a board-certified psychiatrist currently serving his patients at Alamo Mental Health Group located in San Antonio, Texas. In order to ensure all of his patients receive the best care, Dr. Fabre specializes in medication management of anxiety, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. He also treats child and adolescent disorders. Furthermore, he has staff memberships at several local hospitals, including Houston Methodist Hospital and Park Plaza Hospital in Houston, Texas. To begin his career, Dr. Fabre attended Baylor College of Medicine and earned his medical degree in 1969. From there, he continued his education at Baylor College of Medicine and completed his internship and psychiatry residency. As a psychiatrist, Dr. Fabre has dedicated training and unique experience in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health, including substance use disorders. On a more personal note, when he is not working, Dr. Fabre enjoys flying in his free time.
