Nik Farahana Abdul Rashid, MBBS, FAAP, is a Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist and Director of the Sickle Cell Treatment Center at Children's Specialty Center of Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. rashid graduated from Sekolah Seri Puteri in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1987, and completed his bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery degree in 1995 at The University of Nottingham. He served his pediatric residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, New York, and his pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Rashid is a professional member of The American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, as well as fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
