Ronald A. Fragen, MD, is an established plastic surgeon with his own private practice, Fragen Cosmetic Surgery Center, located in Palm Springs, California. In the past, he served as Assistant Professor at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center (1984-2002), President of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery (1999-2000), Chairman of the Advisory Board American Society of Liposuction Surgery (2002), and President of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (2001-2003). Dr. Fragen is also affiliated with Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. He is Board Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (2001-present), Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Editorial Board member of the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, member of the Board of Directors for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and Examiner of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Fragen received his medical degree at Indiana University in 1964 and trained at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. He is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and was honored by the Palm Springs Senior Center for his work on the Board of Directors.
