She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was honored with the Diabetes Recognition Program Award (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017), Patients' Choice Award (2008, 2009), On-Time Doctor Award (2009), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2009, 2010), and America's Most Compassionate Physician Award- 2012.
