What happens if I get water in my eye after Lasik?
Getting a small drop of water in your eye should not cause any problems. You can wash it out with artificial tears. The only thing to worry about is getting an infection. If your eye gets discharge pain or blurry vision you should get it checked out by an eye care professional. READ MORE

Floaters can become more obvious after cataract surgery. Removing the cataract lets more light into the eye and can make floaters more obvious. Also, it is possible that one complication of cataract surgery is retinal tears or detachment. It is likely a stye which is a clogged infected eyelid gland. The fact that it is possibly spreading through your lid can be more serious and this could be preseptal cellulitis. In addition to being a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, he serves as a Board Member on the Manatee Memorial Hospital PHO Committee and the Manatee County Medical Society.
Back in 1982, Dr. Adler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College, where he graduated Cum Laude. He then went on to obtain his Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University in 1983, followed by his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1987.
Wanting to further his education, he completed his medical internship at the Medical College of Georgia in 1988, followed by his residency at the Georgetown University Medical Center in 1991.
The doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, which is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
