A highly trained and experienced cardiac surgeon, Dr. Deeik is the Division Chief and Medical Director of Cardiac Surgery at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. He is committed to excellence in the practice of heart surgery in Sonoma County and the rest of the Northern California Bay Area.
Offering compassionate care for each and every patient with the most current technology and techniques, Dr. Deeik is a leader in minimally invasive cardiac surgery and many other complex procedures including coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement surgery, treatment of atrial fibrillation, trans catheter aortic valve replacement and much more. He performs over 95% of bypass procedures off-pump, whereas only 20% of CABG procedures in the United States are performed off-pump on average.
A 1995 graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr. Deeik completed his residency in surgery at the Northwestern university McGaw Medical Center in 2000, and a fellowship in thoracic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in 2002.
Double Board-certified in Surgery and thoracic surgery, Dr. Deeik is a Diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, an American surgical organization devoted to surgery of the chest.
