Dr. Jessica Arias Garau is a double board certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Management. She completed a B.A .in Biology and Business at the University of Rochester in New York. Dr. Arias graduated at the top of her class at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she earned her doctorate of Medicine degree. She then completed an internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the same institution, under program director Dr. William Micheo, past president of the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She obtained her fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Temple University, under program director Dr. Frank Falco, past president of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. This fellowship program was one of the only three ACGME accredited PMR based Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship Programs in the country.

Dr. Arias is co-author of articles on spine and pain related disorders. She has provided clinical instruction and educational lectures to residents and fellows at Temple University Mid-Atlantic Spine and Pain program, and University of Puerto Rico, among others. She was selected as "Top Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Management Specialist in New Jersey" by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals.
