Get to know Obstetrician and Gynecologist Dr. Anthony Mackaronis, who serves the population of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Dr. Mackaronis is a highly trained and qualified OB/GYN with a vast expertise in all facets of his work. Dr. Mackaronis has been in practice for more than a decade and is currently serving patients within Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Dr. Mackaronis’ career in medicine began in 2002 when he graduated from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Following the completion of medical school, he completed his residency training at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Mackaronis is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and attributes his success to his tenacity. When he is not assisting patients, he enjoys attending concerts and watching movies. Most OB/GYNs are generalists and see a variety of medical conditions in the office, perform surgery, and manage labor and delivery. Office practice consists of providing women with preventive examinations and other primary care and identifying gynecologic problems.
