Brittny Murphy, a highly esteemed Certified Orofacial Myologist, Buteyko Breathing Educator, author, mentor, and key opinion leader in sleep and myofunctional therapy, is the Founder of CT Orofacial Myology in Cheshire, Connecticut. With a deep-rooted passion for improving the quality of life of their patients, Brittny and her dedicated team of trained orofacial myologists aim to revolutionize the field of myofunctional therapy by offering patient-centered treatment plans tailored to all ages both in office and globally through virtual care. 

With a strong belief in the transformative power of myofunctional therapy, Brittny advocates tirelessly for her patients, ensuring that their voices are heard every step of the way. Brittny's commitment to excellence is reflected in her impressive educational background, having received her Degree from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at MCPHS in 2011, and completing postgraduate training in Myofunctional Therapy through the AOMT and IAOM in 2016 and 2017. She remains dedicated to expanding her knowledge through continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest industry trends.

Known for her collaborative spirit and exceptional reputation, Brittny works closely with various healthcare professionals including dentists, orthodontists, sleep physicians, OMFS, ENTs, speech language pathologists, and more. Her professional affiliations with esteemed organizations such as the International Association of Airway Hygienists, the International Association of Orofacial Myology, and the American Academy of Physiological Medicine & Dentistry underscore her commitment to excellence.

In addition to her clinical practice, Brittny is a passionate educator and mentor, training aspiring myofunctional therapists with introductory and advanced courses through Airway Health Solutions. She also hosts the popular podcast “I Spy with My Myo Eye,” sharing valuable insights and expertise with a global audience.

When she is not immersed in her myofunctional work, Brittny enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Kyle, and their two beloved dogs, KoBe and Beau. They are patiently awaiting the arrival of their twin girls. Her love for travel and culture often leads her to her favorite vacation spot, Italy.
