Get to know Neurologist Dr. Brian J. Morse, who serves the population of Morristown, New Jersey. Dr. Brian J. Morse has been in practice for over a decade and is currently serving patients within his practice, Advocare Comprehensive Neurology of New Jersey, located in Morristown. Dr. Morse’s acclaimed career in medicine began after graduating with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Illinois. Following the completion of medical school, he completed an internship at Evanston Hospital of Northwestern University, followed by a second year of training in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. Thereafter, Dr. Morse completed his Neurology residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center, before undertaking his fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology with a special emphasis on Neuromuscular Diseases and Electrodiagnostic Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and New York Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Morse is board certified in Neurology, and has earned the coveted title of Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. To stay current with the latest advances in his field, he is a distinguished member of the American Academy of Neurology. He has been named a “Top Doctor” for Neurology in 2007, 2009, and 2010, and attributes his success to his dedication to his work, education, and the support of his family. In his free time, Dr. Morse enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and participating in marathons. Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous systems (and their subdivisions, the autonomic and somatic nervous systems), including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle.
