Robert Lange Elliott, MD, PhD, DSc, is an established surgical oncologist who works at Established in 1973, The Elliott Elliott Head Breast Cancer Treatment and Research Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Elliott, Elliott, Baucom Breast Cancer Research and Treatment Center has been helping women overcome breast cancer through innovative treatment. Dr. Elliott graduated from Delta State University with a B.S. in 1959. He then attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine where he received his M.D. in 1961. He then went to LaSalle University where he received his Ph.D. in 1994, then receiving his D. Sci. (h.c.) in 2009 from Delta State University. Dr. Elliott has completed many post graduate programs and has many appointments, awards and belongs to several honor societies. He belongs to over 40 organizations, including the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Southeastern Surgical Associates, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Association for Cancer Research, completed 9 exhibits, and has been part of well over 250 meetings. He has over 90 papers published with over 150 abstracts, is included in 3 different book chapters, published on book called Breast Cancer- Anger at the Enemy. He is also responsible for 6 patents.
