Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the Ophthalmological Society of South Africa, the South African Vitreo Retinal Society, the South African Glaucoma Society, the South African Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
